Ohoho, spoilers alert?
Arystar Krory III was raised by his grandfather, Arystar Krory I, in a large castle. He had stayed there his whole life, assisting his only family member in taking care of peculiar sorts of treasures and plants. When he died, he told his young grandson to remain in the castle forever. As years passed he was particularily taking care of one flower, Roseanne, returned to his grandfather by none other than General Cross Marian. One day, the flower had suddenly snapped up to bite him in the neck, withering almost instantly. Krory's teeth began to fall out, much to his horror and surprise, but razor-sharp teeth soon appeared in their sockets. It is revealed that it was a piece of Innocence, making him a sort of Parasite-type.
At this moment, Krory began to feel this unbearable thirst. He began to attack certain villagers, drinking their blood and causing them to fear him greatly. On one attack, he met Eliade, an Akuma working specifically work the Earl, and they both fell in love. Krory, however, did not know that she was an Akuma. He began to depend more and more on her. At this particular point, Allen and Rabi, who were investigating the whereabouts of Cross and taking part in a 'vampire extermination', encountered him sucking the blood of a victim, planning to rid him for the villagers who hired them. Krory proved to be a fierce opponent, throwing Rabi off his hammer and biting through Allen's claw (with a few complaints about how his blood was bitter). He eventually ran away back to his castle along with the body, the Exorcists chasing after him. Mourning over what he had done, Krory gave the body to Eliade, comforted by her and leaving her to bury it. As she returned from the ruckus against Allen and Rabi, Eliade allowed Krory to drink some of her blood, causing him to become much stronger and feral. She soon tells him to exterminate the Exorcists for ruining her flowers, and he complies, enraged by his memories of being isolated.
Krory lands a surprise attack on Rabi first, knocking him into a wall unconscious as he and Allen were digging up the graves of his victims. The cursed Exorcist fights him, and realizing the power of his teeth, he tries to convince the man to join them. Krory refuses, stating that he didn't want to live a bound life, and with that, he launches at Allen with such fierceness, biting him and throwing him into the castle, believing him to be dead. All of those thoughts disappear when he dodges Rabi's counter, both of them attacking head-on. In the midst of the battle, Krory suddenly runs out of strength, panicking about taking more of Eliade's blood while Rabi stares at him oddly. The Bookman apprentice uses this opportunity to unleash a large Hi Ban onto Krory, sending him crashing through the castle walls. Eliade, who happened to be fighting Allen, abruptedly converts back to her human form and rushes to his side. When Krory opens his eyes, he sees the Akuma's soul attached to her, and horrified, he asks her what it was. It was because of Allen's evolved eye that he, along with Rabi, could see it. Eliade, who realized that Krory could indeed look at it, turned to attack him, telling him that she would kill him. The man was devastated, but he fought her anyways, declaring that he had loved her. However, Eliade's specialty, which were bubbles that shriveled up water from anything it touched, proved too much for him. Krory was hit repeatedly by the bubbles, and soon, Eliade had stood over his withered body, stating her farewell, and explains her Akuma nature that kills all the men that came close to her. As soon as she finished, Krory suddenly snapped up, biting her neck and succeeding in exorcising her. As he parts good-bye with her soul, he starts weeping in pain, wanting to take his own life for killing the woman he loved. It took a while for Rabi and Allen to stop him from enraging one of Eliade's rose plants. Allen convinces Krory to join them as a way of avenging his lover, and he complies. He tells the two Exorcists to wait outside, and he burns his castle down, leaving it as a symbol of his freedom and his start as an Exorcist.
Soon after Krory had joined Allen and Rabi, they were confronted the mayor and the citizens of the village. They exiled him from the village in a fit of rage, ignoring what Rabi and Allen had to say about him. Dejected, Krory was led away by his friends, where they eventually boarded a train. He, unfortunately when wandering around, finds himself suckered into a game of poker against a small group of poor men and a boy, losing nearly all of his clothing in the process. To save his dignity, Allen had to play for him, winning in the process. When they part ways, the Earl's plot unfolds.
In Noah's Ark, Krory and Allen square off against the Noah siblings, Jasdero and Debitto, while Rabi attempts to find the real key to the next doors. Jasdebi, who were absolutely terrified at Allen's Crown Clown, conceal themselves using one of their special techniques. The two Exorcists had lots of trouble attacking them, spotting them only when they were distracted by Linali. Rabi succeeds in finding the key, and Krory tells them to leave Jasdebi to him. With some hesitation, his allies leave to the next door, and the Noahs combine into one form to face off against him. Using the bit of Akuma blood from Sachiko, the man temporarily boosts his strength after he drinks it, and the battle begins. Krory fights head on with Jasdebi, but he is no match when he runs out of power. He reaches for the last bottle of blood that he has, but he is snagged by the Noah, who calls him a monster for using the blood of Akuma to destory. Laughing, Jasdebi drops Krory into a spiked coffin, slamming it shut to write the end of his life. But before the spikes could impale him, the Exorcist suddenly finds himself in Avoria, all brand new and confused as heck.
Although Krory's been stuck in a castle for most of his life, he's very polite and kind, not wanting to treat people badly. However, he's extremely gullible and oblivious, and often doesn't get things. He'll awe over anything that seems brand-spanking new to him. Whenever he activates his Innocence, his attitude changes to a casual manner, and the hair fringe in front of his face goes upward. Krory's Innocence also allows him to suck out Akuma blood, which powers him, and he's able to suck the poison out of his allies. On a little note, he eats just as much as Allen does, since he's a Parasite-type, so just.. don't make them share food. He's also usually called Kuro-chan or Krorykins by Rabi.
